The artist

   Eike Braselmann

Born in Diepholz, Lower Saxony in 1982, he studied art therapy and graphic design.

Since, from the very beginning, life as an employee didn't seem to be the right thing for him, he earned his living making dreadlocks, made music, designed artworks for bands, made a few commercial animations, painted a lot and visited seminars about green building and permaculture.

His creative interest, and an in-depth study of the challenges of human ecology led him to clay building.
He considers the fusion of artistic architecture and ecology as a contribution to a more human-appropriate future.

Small, private buildings are his thing, because he likes to work alone and have everything in sight, but also because he thinks there is some value in accenting the manageable, given how much our time is shaped by expanion and consumerism.

Wherever it is necessary in the build, be that in drafting plans that meet the requirements of the regulators, in unusually demanding parts of the construction, or when there's some extra heavy lifting to be done, he likes to resort to his network of  architects, craftspeople, and enthusiasts.

Whenever clients want to join in the work, they of course invited to do so!

Feel free to browse Eike's redbubble shop for prints of his paintings!
